The mission of Carroll Robotics is to expose Carroll ISD students to the field of engineering by providing hands-on engineering opportunities, and to increase awareness of engineering education in the Southlake community.
In Robotics 1, students learn the fundamentals of VEX Robotics using the VEX EXP Classroom Competition Curriculum. Students work in teams to solve design challenges.
In Robotics 2, students work in teams to design and build a robot that will compete in the VEX Robotics Competition which is a game-based engineering challenge.
In Robotics 3 (Practicum in Manufacturing) students continue to compete in the VEX Robotics Competition and also are introduced to the concepts of Industrial Robotics.
