Grant funding powers student achievement at the highest level.
Investing in Student Potential
Carroll Robotics applies for competitive grant funding to ensure every student—regardless of background—can access the highest levels of STEM education and global robotics competition. Grant support helps fund essential needs like travel, equipment, fabrication tools, and outreach programming. These resources allow our student-led teams to design, build, and compete with advanced robotics systems, gain real-world technical experience, and grow into future engineers, coders, and leaders.
“Carroll Robotics was a huge factor in my decision to become a CNC programmer. It introduced me to manufacturing, CAD, programming, and leadership. I now apply those skills in my career, and I’m proud of the foundation this program gave me.”
— Zander, CNC Programmer
“At Purdue, my robotics background helped me stand out. I was able to contribute immediately to the electric racing team, design our steering wheel, and now I lead Race Engineering. That early start wouldn’t have been possible without Carroll Robotics.”
— Alexander Charlton, Mechanical Engineering Student, Purdue
“Doing robotics in high school completely transformed my academic path. I had never been particularly interested in STEM before, but Carroll Robotics showed me how exciting and meaningful engineering could be. I now major in Industrial & Systems Engineering at the University of Washington and lead the UW Advanced Robotics Team.”
— Anna Iyer, UW Student, Robotics Team Lead
“Robotics gave me what I needed to push toward a future in engineering. I learned to code in C++, troubleshoot under pressure, and work with a team. My proudest moment was winning the UIL State title in our first year as Lone Star Cup contenders.”
— Tiagan Koob, Class of 2024
“Carroll Robotics gave me the opportunity to discover my passion for engineering while building lifelong friendships. The experience gave me the confidence to pursue a computer science degree and become a professional software developer.”
— Jake Zenick, Software Developer
